My Research Interests

Research Description

I am a 5th year student in the UC Berkeley/UCSF Program in Bioengineering working on single cell analysis in the lab. Specifically, I am involved in developing a microfluidic emulsion PCR method for early cancer detection and analysis. My projects include developing a total cell analysis chip, a single cell culture chip, and a cartridge for label-free TB detection. I am also working on simulating PCR and developing tools to optimize genetic assays in silico. Outside of the lab, I am involved in science education outreach, including founding of Future Scientist.
